All you need is a friend, neighbor or family member to have a heart attack or stroke to remind you that you need to know the symptoms and listen to your body when it gives you a warning sign. I know for women the symptoms are different than for men and that is why I support Go Red for Women. Having just celebrated a milestone birthday, it is even more important for me to take care of myself. I have always been an avid runner and basketball player and will continue to keep my heart healthy with cardiovascular exercise.
