Share Your Story 2016

The American Heart Association joined Havertys on National Wear Red Day to host a Red Couch Tour in Buckhead. Throughout the day, heart disease and stroke survivors came out to share their story. The Red Cocuh Tour engaged women directly and distinctly with the key messages of the Go Red movement: heart disease is the No. 1 killer of women, and it is largely preventable by adopting simple lifestyle changes. Onlookers were encouraged to have a seat on the couch and share a personal story about how heart disease or stroke has affected them or someone they love.
