Heart disease is still the number 1 killer of Americans and stroke is number 5. For those in the construction industry, the risk of developing cardiovascular disease is greater than the national average. We know that our most challenging work lies ahead of us and that we are the organization that can meet the challenge. By bringing together professionals from the construction, healthcare, and greater business communities, we can continue our work of funding groundbreaking research, developing guidelines to improve patient care, and help educate our community on how to lower their risk factors for heart disease and stroke.
